Q. What this this?
A. Founded in 2023, and inspired by Chung Ahn, the Mad Farmers Endowment Fund (MFEF) hopes to do some good in this beautiful but broken world. We want to share Love and point people to something bigger than ourselves.

Q. Where will the funds go?
A. The MFEF will donate proceeds to registered charitable organizations that support food and water projects.

Q. Why an endowment fund?
A. Endowment funds, when done well, are self-sustaining for generations. We believe that this is a more strategic way to help organizations in the long run.

Q. Who oversees this fund?
A. gfnf, which was founded in the memory of Rebecca Chan, organizes, administers, and makes all the final decisions on how the MFEF is managed. gfnf is a registered non-profit charitable organization located in Burnaby, BC.

Q. Where is this fund invested?
A. The MFEF is invested through the Vancouver Foundation, which grants hundreds of charities and non-profits in BC every year.

Q. How will funds be raised?
A. Primarily through donations. Go here to make a tax-receiptable donation through the Vancouver Foundation. We also organize a few fundraisers every year that are aimed at sharing about the MFEF as well as having fun together.

Q. Does anyone profit from this?
A. gfnf is completely volunteer run. Therefore any fundraisers for the MFEF will also be run by volunteers. Sometimes we give our volunteers a coffee gift card, but that’s about it.
